What does it mean to go forward in fidelity to the grace of our vocation?
Group #18 responded:
Vocation – we are called to holiness. We have the Constitutions but need God’s grace to fulfill them. We have to avoid putting up barriers to God’s grace.
To walk in the Spirit is to walk in the Word.
Carry out our vocation in a personal way. Each secular has a different gift to bring to the community.
Adhere to and embrace evangelical counsels.
Ultimate purpose salvation of souls. Responding to our vocation we respond to God’s call.
Pray for unity. Change is hard for all people. Change is an opportunity for growth as an individual and as a community.
Obedience is essential to our vocation.
Apostolate: no one dies alone – Anchorage speakers to go into parishes to speak on Carmel - Second Harvest.
