Everything that happens in our life is an opportunity for an encounter with God. How do we respond? Do we try to tend towards union with Him?

Similarities – Fr McMahon’s talk – spiritual warfare – must know your faith – life is always and encounter with God – need to be educated Catholics.
Big adventure – dark night of the times and great graces. Encounter with God. Healing experience – just God. Everything in life is an opportunity for encounter with God. What is our first response? If not tending toward union then what? What do you want to learn from this? Go with the flow – let God love you. Need to listen to God – turn off the other noise.
Tending towards Union – inviting others toward God (to Mass etc)
Pray and speak! Become a conduit for the Lord. Need to remain in the presence of God. Take situations back to prayer – challenges and tensions.
Transformation – thanksgiving. No coincidences. Mission to communion – seeking communion. Peace be with you, it is I, do not be afraid!
Being led by the Holy Spirit – being guided – being receptive. Need passion for faith and support the priests, learn from all experiences.
